May this be a healthy and prosperous year for all families.
We begin the New Year offering our first family education class of 2012:
Strengthening Families – South Whidbey location
A seven-week fun, and interactive, class geared for parents/caregivers and their 10-14 year old children.
Both parents and children attend each session. Classes begin Thursday, February 9th, 5:30-8 pm.
A complimentary, light dinner will be offered at 5:30 pm and childcare is available with RSVP to
221-0484.
Strengthening Families. has been shown to help parents learn nurturing skills that support their children, teach parents/caregivers how to effectively discipline and guide their children, teach both youth and parents to deal with stress and peer pressure while giving youth a healthy future orientation and an increasing appreciation of their parents and caregivers.
Please join us for this wonderful opportunity! Call 221-0484 to sign up.
Holiday House 2011
This year’s Holiday House was a big success both on South Whidbey as well as Coupeville. Over 300 children were served in each location. A big thank you to all community, individual, volunteer, service club, faith-based, and business owners and employees who contributed to this most-celebrated event.
This project would not be possible without your support!
